It is true that we do not know it; but do we know the least about what is most our own? At times I reflect on how heaven came into being, and death: we put away what was most precious to us, because there was so much that had to be dealth with first, and because it was not safe with us, in our busy lives. And now ages has passed by, and we have grown accustomed to things of less consequence. We no longer recognize what is our own, and are appalled at its vasty greatness.
May it not be so?
